The Iris is a very meaningful flower to me. It has been used
many times by Mental Illness support organizations,
standing for strength, beauty and hope. It was my best
friend Margo's favorite flower. It is my lovely little
grandaughter's name; IRIS. It means love to me.

Living on a beautiful Maine lake, far from the Main
Roads; In the quiet of winter, when there is hardly
any evidence of a living thing as it is so cold and
barren outside the window, there would be a visit
from a beautiful little chickadee. We gave him
food, he gave us so much more.
